Since publishing our initial article, we have received new information regarding Rick Pendlebury’s LinkedIn account. It appears his profile, which had been deactivated, was reactivated and modified to suggest he retired from TMOF in September 2024 (within the last 3 days). The profile is again deactivated.
This series of changes raises further questions: Has Pendlebury retired or been fired? It is suspected there was an agreement for him to step down after the investigation into his conduct. A common approach used by serving police officers under investigation, who often resign to avoid formal consequences. It’s noteworthy, and somewhat ironic that both Maggie Oliver and Rick Pendlebury are ex-police officers, potentially employing similar dishonest strategies
