Warwickshire Police officer sent for trial after alleged inappropriate contact with victim

A Warwickshire Police officer has been sent for trial after it was alleged that he had been inappropriately contacting a domestic abuse victim. PC Pervinder Mann was charged with misconduct in public office and perverting the course of justice.

Mann appeared at Coventry Magistrates back in March where he was released on bail until April 13. He was then transferred to Westminster Magistrates on the decision of the district judge.

He has since yet again been released on bail and will now appear at Birmingham Crown Court on May 11.
